1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using turtledeck ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
turtledeck is a canvas-free slideshow editor that lets you create, edit, and share presentation decks. The Service is provided as-is and may be updated, changed, or discontinued at any time without notice.
3. Technology and Infrastructure
turtledeck is built entirely using Claude Code, an AI-assisted development tool by Anthropic. The application is hosted and powered by the following third-party platforms:
- —Supabase — provides user authentication, database storage, and backend infrastructure.
- —Vercel — provides hosting, deployment, and content delivery for the web application.
Your use of the Service is therefore also subject to the terms and privacy policies of Supabase and Vercel.
4. User Accounts
Access to the Service requires a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under it. We use magic links (passwordless email sign-in) and do not store passwords.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create within turtledeck. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not sell or share your content with third parties.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Some features of turtledeck require a paid subscription. By purchasing a plan, you agree to the pricing and billing terms presented at the time of purchase. Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use turtledeck to create, store, or share content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or infringing on the rights of others. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, data retention, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, turtledeck shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or business interruption.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
