Sharing & collaboration
Send a read-only link to anyone, or invite collaborators to edit with you.
The public viewer link
Click the share icon in the deck header. Under Viewer link, click Copy to grab a public URL — anyone with the link can view your deck in a read-only presentation view, no turtledeck account required. The link stays live for as long as the deck exists; there's no expiry or access control on it.
Inviting collaborators
In the same popover, enter an email address under Invite and choose a role:
- Viewer — can open and view the deck in the editor, without editing it.
- Editor — full editing access alongside you.
The person you invite must already have a turtledeck account under that email — there's no invite-to-signup flow yet. Everyone with access to a deck, including you, shows up as an avatar in the deck header.
Managing access
The People with access list shows everyone on the deck. Change a collaborator's role from their dropdown, or remove them with the X button. The deck owner's role can't be changed or removed.
The public viewer
Opening a viewer link shows the deck centered on the page with prev/next controls and a row of dot indicators — one per slide, click any to jump to it. A play button enters true fullscreen. Keyboard navigation matches presentation mode, though the viewer doesn't have a section-jump toolbar.
